Mike Pence takes 8-vehicles across island where cars have been banned for 100-years.

The Trump Administration’s lack of respect and disregard for any local, regional or national community is out of control. Mike Pence is no exception.

For over one hundred years, motorized vehicles have been banned from Mackinac Island in Michigan . The vice President felt he was an exception and barreled down the dirt roads with his motorcade.

In 1975, former President Gerald Ford, along with Betty Ford took a horse-drawn carriage because the ban is so strictly enforced.

The Trump administration feels they are an exception to any rules or laws, no matter how long they have been in effect. Saturday, vice president Pence rolled across the island with eight vehicles speeding down dirt roads. Locals watched in disbelief, anger and frustration.

After watching this spectacle, quotes ranges from “this is obscene” to “Sacrilege”. Another local posted: “Even President Gerald Ford rode in a horse drawn carriage. Is there no limit to the crass elitist raised middle finger to America?”
